ASU Women & Men Set for Wednesday Tournament Tipoffs

Complete brackets in PDF Format The Lady Hornets will tip off against Prairie View at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday night at Birmingham's Fair Park Arena. The ASU men's team will follow at 8 p.m. in a first round game against Texas Southern.
By virtue of finishing 8th in the regular season, Freda Freeman-Jackson and the ASU Lady Hornets will play the 1st seed Prairie View A & M.
ASU finished the season 12-17 overall and 8-10 SWAC, while Prairie View was 20-10 and 15-3 in the SWAC. The teams played twice, with Prairie View winning both games.
Lewis Jackson and the ASU men's team won the SWAC regular season championship with a 15-3 record.
The Hornets were 19-9 overall. ASU beat Texas Southern (7-24, 6-12 SWAC) twice this season pushing their winning streak against the Tigers to four.
